Angle of Repose by Wallace Stegner
The book was a great journey through the past, and not so distant past. The life of the early western settlers was hard, but had it’s moments. The jumping from past to present was a nice juxtaposition of the lives they were living. It was a good read, I enjoyed being taken away in the descriptions of the places and things seen, and experienced.
This is one of the books in Daria’s Reading List that I’m working on getting through.
